Young the Giant!

This band was mentioned in my YouTube video of my list of favorite bands, and Young the Giant comes close to the first! I had originally heard the band on the radio with there first single My Body and I went maybe a week or so to figure out the bands name and other songs but once I did I listened to all of their songs off of their most recent self titled album....and fell truly in love! The band is in the indie genre so if you love indie rock be sure to check them out! My all time favorite song of theirs is a song called Strings, when the song first starts it sound like you are entering a Hawaiin party but then it instantly turns into the continuous strumming of the electric guitar which is almost hypnotizing use of instruments in the song is what makes this my favorite! Don't get me wrong the lead singer Sameer Gadiah does a great job in part of being the vocalist but this song would not make it too my favorites with out the power of the band behind him! I will post a link below and some other informative links about the band!

Now Is The Start!

     The title of this posting is actually a song by A Fine Frenzy off of their most recent album called Pines! I have to say that after watching the video I was inspired! So I decided to blog about it.... The reason for my inspiration because everything going on with lead singer Alison Sudol is exactly what I imagined doing while listeningto the song! It is a very happy expression where you want to forget all the bad things in life and just dance around like a lunatic! I can actually say I've done it a few times! Ideas?

FINISHED!!

I am finally done editing the second part to my video of my favorite band! It would have all been one video is it sadly didn't shut down in the middle and the second of my project wasn't saved so I lost it! But the second part will be below in a link! Two New Videos!!...SAY WHAT!!!

Today and yesterday I have been able to get two videos done! The first is with my best friend Mckenna where she did all the editing  and we used her camera and that video can be viewed from MckennaLeaTV! But be sure to subscribe to her........ :)

My next video will be coming soon I will probably work on it Monday because its a day off! Woot woot! The basic theme of the video will be my top ten bands and also three of their songs that I like most! So keep checking in for updates and more blog post..

Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors

This is a band I have recently started to listen too. It is a great band to listen too when reading, relaxing, or taking a Sunday drive. Drew Holcomb and Ellie Bannister Holcomb are married and are also the "lead" singers. I like the fact that they are married because it helps the chemistry between the band and also help keep the idea that the music means something to the artist because they also write their own music and its not just them singing off of a sheet of music that was written for them... I had first heard this band off of the popular television show (in which I am obsessed with) How I Met Your Mother.. The recent episode where Robin had the issue that her engagement ring was distracting the men around her from giving her attention in which she missed until at the end she looks at Barney and realizes that she only needs attention from Barney. I find a lot of great music from that show and it usually plays in the last 5 to 6 minutes when the characters come the realization of their wrongs and rights. But back to the band, I had my own little listening party and started with the song "What Would I do With Out You," and that was just the start. I attacked the recommended and still continuously listen to the band and have yet to find a song I absolutely dislike! So with that note I definitely recommend this band, but it may not fit into every bodies musically taste....so I don't expect every one to like it. Just wanted to share some info about Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors!

It's Official!

I signed the lease to move to Sterling Central in Orlando in August! It's a big step and at least I am going with people I know which will make it a bit better. I have a feeling skype is going to be a major thing used while living there to stay connected with the people in Sarasota! The first few weeks will be the worst and my friends and I already plan not to bother one another if Taylor Swift is on while some one is in the shower because that's a cue that some depressing stuff is going on in there. Sterling looks like a very nice place cosmetically but I have been reading into it and really the only complaints are things that are expected from an off campus apartments. (so not too worried). Well yeap really the most exciting thing that has happened today! I am going to bed! Goodnight probably the very few people reading this!

Alright well the original first video was an utter fail!
....but there will be another one coming and I will redo the original one!

Day Two

Alright who ever may be viewing.... this is day two in the blogisphere and there really is not much update.... I was lazy on my day off and should have taken advantage but I still have a few more hours left on this February 19, 2013 so there may be more of an update. I am thinking of taking a trip with my playlist up loud and give intake of my personal music interest.....hmm good idea! So a video will be uploaded hopefully by tonight! So going to go do that! Adios Amigos! 

Alrighty. So this is my first post as an official "blogger". I am pretty sure I am going to use this to share some videos I am going to be making, but there will be more. I really would like the videos to revolve around music (what I like, what the viewers like, whats new, upcoming releases, tour dates, tour info, ect.) But will also do a few make up reviews and tutorials. It would be great to get a base of subscribers, followers and what ever they call it when you blog. By the way I am Chelsea, I am 18, and ready to start blogging!
